1Introduction

Working with the team and Albatha Automotive, AGMC, we wanted to ensure that the newly designed site had a user friendly experience, both for the site visitors and the internal admins.

The site needed to be scalable, as we were working to a phased development roll out.

The site needed to have great performance, so the technical architecture needed to be modern, and adhere to the latest industry requirements.

2Challenge

During the development process the team discussed and introduced a headless CMS that could offer flexibility, ease of use for non-technical staff, and was powerful enough to handle dynamic content.

Vercel hosting was also introduced to adhere to the requirement for high availability and fast loading times for the new site infrastructure.

3Solutions

The new website was built using the headless CMS, Sanity, which was selected for its real-time editing capabilities, highly customisable schema, and ease of integration with the Next.JS framework. It has allowed Pitstop Autocare to manage content efficiently without technical hurdles.

We wanted the new site to be fast for visitors, ensuring that their experience was effortless, as a large proportion of site visitors would be mobile users.

Vercel was chosen for its seamless integration with Next.JS, providing automatic scaling, SSL, and global CDN for optimal performance.

The Next.JS framework was utilised for its server-side rendering capabilities, improving SEO, and offering a fast, interactive user experience.

From a development perspective, the project was approached with an agile methodology, allowing for continuous feedback and iterations.

A User-Centric Design created a simple, navigable interface that catered to the needs of users seeking auto care services. This of course had to cater for all screen sizes.

Best practices for image optimisation, code splitting, and caching were introduced to ensure fast load times

4Conclusion

The development of the Pitstop Autocare and Autoworks Website is thoughtfully designed, and takes advantage of the latest headless CMS technology to create a compelling online presence that is simple for Pitstop's team to use.

By leveraging Sanity CMS and the Next.JS framework, we have created a great looking site that is fast, easy for the customer to navigate, and is flexible for any future development requirements.

The launch of the Pitstop Autocare and Autoworks website has marked a significant milestone for the business. The online presence has been enhanced, the site has established a professional online presence, showcasing services and facilitating online offers.

The use of a scalable platform like Sanity CMS and Next.JS have provided a solid foundation for future growth and feature development.
